This photo was taken in Sichuan province, China in 2009. Those people are Yi people. The Yi people have lived in the deep mountains of western China for generation after generation, over thousands of years. They go through great pains for prosperity. Their hearts are filled with the same longing for a good life. The cruel reality, however, leaves them in an inescapable fate.
